Star
One of my favourites. The painting speaks for itself - and look at how the realistic eye brings the painting to life.
Details are added as the painting progresses. Although the third painting here may appear finished, I then spend a lot of time perfecting the painting so that I am certain that the final painting is a mirror image of the photograph provided.

Logi
A 21st birthday present for Logi's owner - and boy, what a horse! Completely different to the type of horse I have painted previously and I loved the look of this painting. This was painted on a 20 x 16 canvas and, due to Logi's shape, this looked magnificent. At the commissioner's request, I left the rosette off, which I think was a good idea - the focus was all on Logi.
Flo
Another local commission - so I was able to attend to take photographs. Using a selection I produced the following painting, which the owner was thrilled with.
Sam
Sam was painted as a surprise for the lady who bred him. She was very happy with the result. This shows that the photo doesn't have to be brilliant - I was able to take the rug off and use additional photographs (taken outside) to ensure that I got the correct colouring for Sam and I was very pleased with the result.
