Your painting is a timeless piece of work which can be enjoyed for many years.  It doesn't take much to ensure that it remains looking as good as new!

 

 

Paintings are supplied unframed, as it is best to arrange for the piece to be professionally framed in a frame of your choice.  A reputable framer will advise on the best choice of frame to bring out the paintings colour, depth and tones.  Professional framing may seem like an extravagance but it really is worth the time and effort.

 

Framing can be arranged (using a local framers) if you wish.  A choice of frames can be e-mailed to you for consideration, and a quote provided at that stage.  Please be advised that this will delay delivery of your painting - professional framing is an art in itself and can take up to 8 weeks.

 

 

Glass is not required for oil paintings.  Instead, the painting should be varnished approximately 6 months after completion.  Varnishing will allow the painting to be cleaned in the years to come (process whereby the old varnish is replaced with new, leaving the original painting intact).

 

Your painting can be returned to Oil Paintings by Martyn White for varnishing if you wish (varnishing will be performed free of charge - all you need to do is pay for the postage costs).
