How many photographs do I need to send?
It's the quality, not the number that's important. Whilst it's useful to have a few photographs to look at, it's a good idea to pick a favourite photograph to use for the painting. The portrait will be an exact replica of the photograph you provide, so it is vital that the colouring is correct.
Can you visit to take photographs?
Yes, this may be possible by prior arrangement (subject to an additional fee).
Will the photographs be returned?
Yes, with the original portrait. Send copies rather than the originals if possible.
How do I send the photograph(s) to you?
By post (hard copy or CD) or by e-mail.
My photo shows my pet with a collar/bridle/headcollar/rug on - can you paint without this showing?
Yes, although it would be useful to have photographs showing your pet without the item as well, so that relevant detail can be picked up.
How long will it take you to paint my pet?
Usually 6 - 8 weeks. Earlier deadlines can usually be met, subject to work committments and minimum drying time.
